Mechanism

Inhibits the interaction between menin and MLL (KMT2A), turning off the transcription of oncogenic target genes in mutated leukemia cells.

Approved Indication

Treatment of relapsed or refractory acute leukemia with a KMT2A translocation in adult and pediatric patients 30 days and older.

What This Means For Patients

Revuforj (revumenib) is a menin inhibitor developed to target acute leukemia containing KMT2A translocations (MLL rearrangements). It works by blocking aberrant chromatin complexes that drive cancer cell replication. It is available under the special-import policy in the Hainan Boao Lecheng pilot zone.
