熊猫血RhoGAM Rho(D) immune globulin

抗Rho(D)免疫球蛋白

Drug Class

Anti-D immunoglobulin / Immune globulin

Mechanism

Suppresses the active immune response of Rh-negative individuals to Rh-positive red blood cells, preventing the formation of anti-Rh antibodies that could cause hemolytic disease in future pregnancies.

Approved Indication

Prevention of Rh immunization in Rh-negative individuals, particularly during pregnancy and postpartum, or following transfusion of Rh-incompatible blood.

What This Means For Patients

RhoGAM (Rho(D) immune globulin) is an injectable immune globulin approved by the FDA since 1968. It is administered to Rh-negative mothers during or after pregnancy to prevent sensitizing their immune system to Rh-positive baby blood cells, protecting future pregnancies from hemolytic disease. Due to regulatory limits in mainland China, patients can access it legally through designated channels like the Greater Bay Area 'GBA Medicine Connect' or under special import status.
